I am doing great!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes, I am doing great and feeling awesome and it's only been one week!  I have another 5 weeks recuperating time so I can't imagine how much better I will be come then!

Although I won't be driving home for Christmas this year, Lou and I will spending it in Kingston with his family.  We take turns every year, too bad Nova Scotia is so far away.  How awesome would it be if it were only as far as Montreal?

Another pic of the Princess

Here's another picture of the little Princess, Marcy!

Baby - I love those shades!!

Thinking back to this past Mother's Day, my baby sister told me that she was pregnant.  I remember asking her to make a 'PINK' one and if I could be the God Mommy. 
When we were out East for vacation in July, I went to an ultrasound with Petra and heard the baby's heartbeat (of course, I had tears - something that I would never get to hear) and have that little treasure tucked safely in my heart.
In September we all found out it was a little Princess - the first one!  All the rest are nephews!!  I was so excited I went out and purchased all the paper and embellies to make a little Princess album for her.
Well, on November 19th little Marcy was born.  Mind you her actual birthday was to be December 27th, but she weighed in at 6lbs, 13 oz and lots of hair!!!  She would have been a 10 pounder if she stayed any longer!!
I finally got a picture of her.  She's in an incubator as her little lungs aren't fully developed.  She's some cutie, laying there with her shades on!

Yesterday was my last day in a division where I have spent the past 13 years.  It was hard as I have met alot of great people and made alot of great friends.  It is the social aspect that I will miss the most for sure. 
Lou helped me bring some boxes of personal things to my new office and lets just say it looks like it is used as a storage area.
Gonna have to become inspired and think of ways to 'girl' it up for sure.

Today I'm going to have lunch with my handsome husband and then off to a crop I go for the afternoon/evening and all day tomorrow.  I just have to collect my thoughts and come up with a plan of what I'm going to work on.

Wedding - October 23rd

We spent an amazing weekend in Alton at the Millcroft for a wedding.  I'd have to say that this was the nicest wedding I have been to, with the exception of my own!!!!

The photographer (Shelley Lorraine) Dawn & Peter chose was amazing, just look at these beautiful pictures;

A true friend doesn't care when your broke, what you weigh, if your house is a mess, about your past, or if your family is full of crazies. They love you for who you are. A true friend can go long periods of time without speaking to you and never question the friendship.

It's been awhile!

I've been a bad blogger - oops.  Rather busy at work - have 16 people to interview this week all before 9am Thursday!!  And have to find sometime in between there to pack up my office to move to my new job!  Oh, it's all so exciting!!  And no the 16 people aren't to find someone to replace me!!

Steph stayed the weekend which was fun in itself and she and I created until the wee hours!  Friday until 1:30am and Saturday until 4am!!!  That's die-hard scrappers if you ask us!!!  Either that or freakin' crazy!!  And my dining room!  Well it's quite a hilarious sight to see, looks nothing like a dining room.  Ah well, we'll get 'er cleaned up and lookin' good in a bit!!
