So far so good!!!!!!!!!

First day Marlo was left alone and no accidents to report as a side effect of his Prednesone!!!  But wow, he couldn't get outside fast enough!
I could hear him crying at the hallway door inside the house so he heard me either opening the garage door or walking on the cement towards the hallway door.
That's good news for sure!

But the side effects - 'roid rage' came into play when I accidently knocked the dishwasher door down on his head.  Oh the cursing and swearing!!!  Wow-wee!

This cracks me up!!

There is a new TV show on called 'The Middle'.  It's kind of reminiscent of 'Malcome in the Middle'.
"The mom (Everybody Loves Raymond's wife), Frankie Heck is a superhero. Well, no, not an actual superhero—not unless you count getting her kids out the door for school every morning as a superfeat. Middle-aged, middle class and living in the middle of the country, this harried wife and working mother of three uses her wry wit and sense of humor to try to get her family through each day intact. Frankie has a job selling cars at the town's only surviving car dealer; her husband, Mike, is a manager at the local quarry.  The three children??  Axl is the oldest, a teenage jock who eats the family out of house and home and walks around in his underwear on "The Middle." Then there's Sue, their extraordinarily ordinary pre-teen daughter who fails at everything she tries with great gusto. Brick, the youngest son, is an odd kid whose best friend is his backpack."  - off the website.

On this particular episode, Frankie and Mike are celebrating their 16 & 17 anniversary.  They are going to go to French Lick (restaurant), stay over night at a Motor Inn, go to the carpet remnant store and then come home.  Well, at least that's their plan..............

The part of this show is when the Bassett Hound, Doris, is diagnosed with emphysema!!!  Frankie's two psychotic aunts smoke like troopers, their teeth fall out as easily as a five year olds, they have a reason to drink for everything.  Doris has to wear an oxygen tank and mask, a nicotine patch to help her with withdrawals, sports a diaper, and has to be carted around everywhere in a wagon as it's too hard for her to walk places!!!
Here are the aunts, Doris is in the middle - Frankie's two psychotic aunts and Doris
Doris herself - Doris the Bassett Hound has emphysema

Look! Look! Look at what finally came!!

Back in August I went to Creative Escape in AZ and had a blast!  I ordered these two amazing pieces while I was there and I opened them up this morning!  Aren't they gorgeous?  One is going in my craft room (somewhere!!) and the other is going in the front hallway!  Can you guess which is going where?  It's not as easy as you may think!!!!!!!  OK, maybe it is!!
On my way to The Scrapbox to show these gorgeous babies to Jenn and Stephanie!!!!

On another note, kidlet and I are heading to see Dr. Marshmallow this afternoon to see what's up with his hearing.  I was having a grand time this morning popping huge pieces of bubble wrap.  Now normally Marlo would have taken off and gone to hide somewhere but he just sat there watching me intently just in case a yummy treat fell out somewhere!!!  He's already called 'shotgun' for the trip there and back!  Lou told him it was fine with him as he's probably be bussing it home around that time.

UPDATE
Babiness does have something wrong going on inside of his ears.  His eardrums are supposed to look thin and transparent like waxpaper and flutter back and forth picking up sound waves (this is simplified for sure), but Marlo's are opaque/white and appear to be hard.  So he is prescribed Prednisone and a heavy dose at that.  He of course will be drinking more, so we are to expect accidents as we aren't home during the day.  And he will also become more hungry but we cannot give into his wanting more food.
Lou asked me if he's going to suffer from 'Roid Rage'!!!  We hope not!!
We go back in 10 days to see if there has been any progress.  If not.......well there was talk about rupturing his eardrums............but I don't want to talk about that...........at least not right now.

Things that make me SMILE album

This album is quite old, but it still makes me smile when I look through it occasionally.

Canvas 'Life' Album

I made this album after seeing one posted on Donna Downey's blog.  It's made of canvas and uses little fabric squares and the photos are printed on fabric.  It took time to make but I love the outcome!

All about Tristan!

It's hard to believe this little devilish cutie is 4!

Grateful Album I made for my sister after her aneurysm

My most favourit-ist sister (a neubian Princess as Lou refers to her as) suffered a very close call last year.  I made her an album for Christmas to try and show her how grateful I was to still have her as a part of my life.
