Marlo's new T-shirt, freshly cleaned babies, and a stolen kiss.

Yesterday we went on a mission looking for an item which evidently sold out in half and hour on Friday.  Nevertheless our trip wasn't unfruitful, we found this cute T-shirt for Marlo.

Marlo has many babies and he loves, LOVES them!  Every once in a while I wash them for him to remove his dried up 'love kisses' that tend to leave them a little crusty!!
Here are a few pictures of the performance that goes on each time!!

Oh, the carnage!  Unfortunately he was never taught to pick up his toys and put them back in his toy box!

Oh Mom, you're not supposed to watching me and Steppy during our moments.  (Marlo was giving his Steppy some kisses and I interferred with their stolen moment!!

Shhhh baby's sleeping....

He woke me up at 5am this morning, so I put him up on the 'big' bed.  He kept twisting and turning, so we got up at 6am.
I went down to my craft room to finish the recipe books I promised for a Silent Auction.  I heard some crying so I get up and go out to the TV room.  He's wanting up on the sofa but can't jump that high.
I go out 10 minutes later and this was the sight I saw!

My most favourite time of the year, well second most!!!

Well, I have been literally kicked in the bum with H1N1 and now I have a cold with a cough that won't go away.  Energy way low but I have lost some poundage as you don't have an appetite at all.  It's gradually getting better but not as fast as I would like!!

This is the weekend where I put on Christmas music and bake my heart out!  Every year at work we have a bake sale that runs daily for 30 days.  Each manager has at least two sections and every week we have a competition between each section to see who can raise the most money with their baked goodies!!  All proceeds go to sponsor a family either in QC or ON - this year the family will be from QC.  We buy all the fixings for a great Christmas dinner and breakfast the next day.  We buy them boots, jackets, hats, mittens if Mom/Dad requests them, plus a fun item from "Santa".  We always request a family of a single Mom/Dad with three or more children.

Sooooo... this is when I bake up a storm, freeze everything and when it is my week to bring in baked goodies, I am not scrambling at the last minute!  Last year we were first place until....the very last section pulled out the big guns and served a lunch for $5 - cheaters I say.  It so happens that I am now a part of this 'cheater' section, so we have to win for sure!!!  Nothing like tooting your own horn!!!

Also this year we are going to Nova Scotia to spend the holidays with my family!  Woo-hoo!!!  I can't wait!!

I'll post some pics of the goodies later on.
